Objectives
- Understand what entrepreneurs need and expect when disruptive events hit — and what stimulates entrepreneurship, innovativeness and creativity in those conditions.
- Learn how entrepreneurs think about their communities, and about digital innovation and respectfulness.
- Test the relationship between digital resilience and survival through disruption.
- Identify the obstacles that hold entrepreneurship back in disrupted environments, including gender-specific ones.
- Set out how entrepreneurs' skills can be used well, including the ethical use of AI-based approaches.
What we will produce
- An overall research design covering the methodology for the four stakeholder streams.
- A typology of entrepreneurial strategies that work in an age of digitalised disruption.
- An entrepreneurs' handbook collecting what entrepreneurs have learned first-hand.
How to contribute
Secondees on this stream help design the methodology, analyse data with colleagues from other institutions, co-author deliverables, and connect the findings back into the other work streams.
